Happily Holbrook: Brady's Baptism

Brady's baptism was Sunday at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. Brad and I have gone to Elizabeth Ann Seton for awhile now and we were excited to have Brady's baptism there. We chose to do a private ceremony with just close friends and family. We were a little nervous because we knew this would make for a long day...we went to mass first then had the baptism immediately following. Brady did so well! He slept through most of mass and didn't cry at all during the baptism, not even when the water was poured on his head! He wore two sentimental items....a gown that my grandfather and brother both wore when they were baptized and shawl that my aunt Pat and Uncle Bill sent us from England that my cousins, David and Clare wore. After the baptism we had a reception at my parent's house. It was such a special day and we were blessed to be surrounded by friends and family including Brady's Godparents, David and Lucy who we know Brady is so lucky to have!
